Do I have to share at the event?

Not at all.  Most people just come to listen.

Can I get a refund?

No. All tickets are non-refundable or transferrable.

Is there a moderator for the conversation?

Yes.  People raise their hand when they’d like to share and our moderator calls on them.  Two people are never speaking at once.  

Are there guest speakers or experts?

Since Touchpoint is a group conversation, we don’t have any guest speakers.  However, experts such as medical doctors or psychologists are always welcome to join the conversation, and can register for free tickets here.

How can I contribute or volunteer?

We are always looking for volunteers and hosts for Touchpoint.

Is there food at the event?

Yes.  Dig Inn graciously provides some light bites for everyone to snack on.

What types of people come to Touchpoint?

All types--women, men, trans, straight, gay, bi, fluid, monogamous, polyamorous, etc.  All ideas and perspectives are encouraged.

Is this a good place to meet singles?

There are definitely eligible singles who come to Touchpoint.  We’ve heard some stories of people meeting and dating.  One couple actually fell in love and now live together.  

Why did you start this?

Jared Matthew Weiss started Touchpoint because, as he puts it, “I have a lot to learn, and I’ve always found that learning from others is the best way to do it.”

How can I bring Touchpoint to my city?

We’re still learning a lot about how to execute in NYC, but you can fill out this form, and we’ll let you know when we’re ready to start expanding.

How many people come to Touchpoint?

It depends on the space and time of year.  Anywhere between 35-100.
